Origin Press, founded in 1996, is an award-winning general trade publisher. We are always grateful for manuscript submissions. NEW TITLE SUBMISSIONS
To prepare for submission to Origin Press, please study our previous titles at this website. We publish a handful of  new titles each year; in addition, many of our submissions become agented books or self-published titles. We’ll guide your manuscript to its best destination!
How to submit:
It’s best that you begin by emailing a short query to the email address provided below. Please be prepared to forward a formal book proposal.

SUBMISSIONS FOR AUTHOR-SUBSIDIZED TITLES
Origin Press is also a home for author-subsidized titles or books supported by outside grants. A recently published author-subsidized title, A Return To Healing, was the winner of the Gold Prize (Nautilus Awards), for Best Health Book of 2009. In exchange for your provision of third-party funding, we offer royalties ranging from 50 to 80 percent of net sales revenue. Of course, all such titles must fit our list and meet the highest editorial standards. If you have a submission and are able to fund your project, we prefer that you begin by emailing a short query. Please be prepared to forward a formal book proposal.

eBOOK SUBMISSIONS
Origin Press now publishes original eBooks in the ePUB and Kindle formats. (Such titles do not require author funding.) If you have a submission in this category, we again prefer that you begin by emailing a short query.
